Here at Phrasee, we updated our website, and began reaching out to connect with some of email marketing and social media’s best and brightest stars.

The Olympic games rocked Rio, Trump and Hillary continued to circle the drain, and Pokémon Go began to lose steam (at least we hope it did).

Phrasee’s phavourite email marketing tweets of the month: August 2016

But in the end, as with all such conferences, it was the free stuff that really caught our eye…

Speaking of doing it right, how about the language in this email from Cotton Bureau?

Or this solid call to action advice featuring emojis contained in a single tweet?

Meanwhile, at the other end of the quality spectrum, the political email marketing renaissance sparked by Barack Obama’s amazing campaigns waned as Hillary Clinton’s camp lurched further and further toward the creepy and irritating. The people had had enough…

Maybe the first female US presidential candidate could use some help from Women of Email. They look ready…

Or maybe email is a topic better avoided altogether in the Clinton household these days…

Then of course, there was this:

Better Bathrooms will rue the day. Frode’s zero-tolerance policy is the stuff of legends.

So tweet on, email marketing world. We’ll be watching, and we’ll see you next month!
