Why? Some people might say it’s because of our industry-leading AI marketing language generation and optimization technology, or the ever-growing list of brands availing themselves of our services and singing our praises. However, those people would be wrong.
What really sets Phrasee apart are the amazing people who show up, day in and day out, to help us grow our brand, deliver amazing service to our customers, and make our cutting-edge artificial intelligence tech work.
One of those amazing people is Roxy Cameron.

What does Phrasee’s “Marketing Lead” actually do? We’ll let Roxy explain…
“To put it simply, I’m responsible for spreading the word about the Phrasee brand and its world-leading AI. I work with Phrasee’s team of innovative marketers to ensure that the Phrasee message is clear, consistent, and reflective of the awesome company that we are and the outstanding product we have to offer.”
Yes, Roxy Cameron is an important cog in the Phrasee machine indeed. Marketing a complex product like marketing AI, with all its technological intricacies to the masses is no small task. It requires not only an in-depth understanding of Phrasee’s complicated artificial intelligence technology but also the imagination and vision necessary to share that understanding with the world in a cohesive, easy to understand manner. Luckily for Phrasee, those qualities are precisely what Roxy brings to the table. With a keen eye for detail and a wealth of marketing knowledge at her disposal, Roxy has been instrumental in developing the Phrasee brand and its message as we’ve expanded our marketing reach to new markets across the globe. The best part is, she’s done so with a winning smile and positive attitude all the way along.

How long have you been with Phrasee: Over a year now
Pets: I’m one of those people that have to fight the urge to hug every dog I see! I don’t have a dog of my own, but I am an aunt to two adorable Huskie/Malamute crosses called Skyla and Alaska.
Favourite day off activity: I think most people would think I’d say running, but actually my favorite thing to do is something I like to call couch life. Spending the day on the couch, watching all the TV series.

Biggest pet peeve: I can’t stand it when people crack their knuckles…

How did you wind up on the Phrasee team?
I’d worked for a successful start-up back in South Africa which I really enjoyed – there’s nothing like a fast-paced environment! So, when I saw the ad on LinkedIn for my role I knew that it would be an awesome challenge.
What have you learned since joining the Phrasee team?
It’s taught me a lot about the importance of staying true to your brand and not following others just because it’s the expected norm. Phrasee is courageous and unlike anyone in the market, and that’s a direct result of its fearless branding.
What makes Phrasee special as a company?
Of course the technology but more importantly the people. I genuinely like everyone I work with.
Why should brands use Phrasee?
Where is Phrasee headed in the years to come?
I’m really excited about the next few years. The building blocks have been set and we’re ready to keep pushing the boundaries.
What’s it like working with AI?
There are a lot of products in the market that are calling themselves AI when they are really marketing automation. I really enjoy working with actual AI and helping to educate marketers on what AI is.
What’s the most exciting thing going on in your life today?
Seeing my family – my siblings are spending Xmas in London this year so I’m excited to show them how the Brits celebrate…
